Build the session

Choose the words you want.

Open a deck, choose a playback voice, then tap one or several word cards. Selected cards turn blue and the tray keeps count. Tap Open preview when the set is ready.

Listen and write

Write each answer—across as many pages as needed.

Listen to the current item, then handwrite or type what you hear. The item counter tracks words; the page counter tracks writing pages inside the current answer.

What is the difference between +, the page arrow, and NEXT?

The plus sign adds another writing page to the current answer. The arrow beside the page counter switches between those pages. NEXT advances to a different word, phrase, or sentence.

How are answers with multiple writing pages graded?

Use as many pages as you need for one item. DictoEaso automatically joins the recognized writing from every page and evaluates it as a single answer.

Do I need an account?

No. DictoEaso does not require registration or sign-in.

Does handwriting recognition require internet?

A language model may need to be downloaded the first time. Recognition then runs on your device.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. Camera and gallery images are processed on your device for text recognition.

Do I need an Apple Pencil or stylus?

No. You can write with your finger, stylus, or Apple Pencil. Keyboard input is also available.

Is DictoEaso a subscription?

No. DictoEaso is a one-time paid download. There is no recurring subscription. The store checkout page determines the final price in your region.

What happens if I delete the app?
